TeraCyte Analytics

Our Commitment to Accessibility

TeraCyte Analytics is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to our website.

This website aims to conform to Israeli Standard 5568 (IS 5568) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, with enhancements toward WCAG 2.1 AA where possible.

Applicable Standards

  • Israeli Standard IS 5568

The Israeli accessibility standard for websites and digital services, based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA.

  • WCAG 2.0 Level AA

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C, covering perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness.

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA (where possible)

Extended guidelines covering mobile accessibility, low vision, and cognitive accessibility improvements.

Accessibility Measures

TeraCyte Analytics has taken the following steps to ensure accessibility:

  • Keyboard-navigable interface — the entire website can be used without a mouse.
  • Skip to main content link available at the top of every page.
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
  • Semantic HTML structure with correct heading hierarchy (H1 → H2 → H3).
  • ARIA labels and roles added where needed for screen reader clarity.
  • All form fields have visible, associated labels.
  • Text contrast meets WCAG AA requirements throughout.
  • Animated elements respect the user's "prefers-reduced-motion" setting.
  • Decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes or aria-hidden.
  • The Pipeline Gantt chart includes a text-based table alternative.
  • Navigation menu is announced correctly by screen readers.
  • Mobile hamburger menu is keyboard and screen-reader accessible.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full compliance, some content — particularly complex biological visualizations and interactive charts — may present challenges. We have provided text-based alternatives for such content. We continue to work toward full compliance and welcome feedback about any accessibility barriers you encounter.
