Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Sales to drive business growth in Israel and internationally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotech sales, selling both services and products to academic institutions and bioprocessing companies (such as pharma and food tech). They will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, leading the sales strategy, and driving revenue growth across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to promote TeraCyte’s services and products to bioprocessing companies and academic institutions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, decision-makers, and stakeholders in biotech, pharma, food tech, and academia.
  • Identify and establish new business opportunities to meet revenue goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, BD, R&D, product) to ensure alignment between customer needs and company offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, demonstrating the value of TeraCyte’s products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to the product and R&D teams to help improve and evolve offerings.
  • Contribute to the development of the company’s strategic goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • BSc and MSc in Biology or related fields; MBA/PhD preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in sales within a B2B biotech company, selling both services and products to biotech companies and academia.
  • Proven experience in successfully introducing new products to the market, including developing go-to-market strategies, driving product launch initiatives, and overseeing the product lifecycle from concept to commercial success.
  • Enthusiastic, driven, and eager to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to engage coworkers and promote company's agenda.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Can adjust strategies and approaches in response to changing market conditions and business needs.
  • Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
